Media Mentions
Review the verification standard Currency Information will use for future media mentions, external profiles, references, logos, and public links without presenting unconfirmed recognition.
Currency Information does not currently list verified media mentions, interviews, awards, directory profiles, encyclopedia entries, or other external references on this page. The placeholder preserves transparency by explaining the standard that will apply without converting an absence of verified references into a promotional claim.
Verification Standard
An external reference should be added only when a working public URL confirms the mention, profile, interview, citation, or coverage. Press-release distribution is not treated as independent editorial media coverage. The description of an entry should match what the external page actually demonstrates and should not imply endorsement where there is only a citation or listing.
Third-party logos are not displayed by default. A logo may be used only when permission, applicable brand guidance, or another valid basis has been confirmed.
Official Profiles
No verified official social-media or external organization profiles are currently listed. Accounts should not be treated as official unless linked directly from CurrencyInformation.org or otherwise confirmed by Currency Information. A verified link should identify the publication accurately and be under the control of, or clearly associated with, Currency Information.
Submit a Verified Reference
Relevant public references may be sent to partnerships@currencyinformation.org. Include the direct URL, publication name, date, and a short explanation.
Submission does not guarantee inclusion.
What Qualifies for This Page
A qualifying item may include an independent article that cites Currency Information, a published interview, a verified podcast or broadcast appearance, a public institutional reference, or a confirmed profile on an external platform. The relevant question is whether the external source independently confirms the stated reference, not whether the page can be found through search.
Paid distribution, copied press-release pages, automated directories, scraped profiles, and self-submitted listings should not be described as independent media recognition.
Required Entry Fields
- Publisher or organization name
- Title of the article, interview, profile, or reference
- Publication date
- Direct working URL
- Short neutral description of the reference
- Disclosure if the placement was paid, submitted, or commercially connected. Consistent fields allow readers to verify the reference directly and understand any material commercial context.
Corrections and Link Maintenance
Entries should be removed or updated when a link no longer supports the stated claim, the external page changes materially, or the reference was incorrectly described.
Future sameAs Use
Verified official profiles may later be added to Organization structured data. Empty, unofficial, duplicate, or unverified profiles should not be included.
Neutral Presentation
Future entries should be written in neutral language. The page should not convert a routine citation into an endorsement or describe a paid placement as independent recognition. Phrases such as “featured in,” “trusted by,” or “recognized by” should be used only when the underlying source clearly supports that wording. Neutral wording keeps the page useful as a reference record rather than turning it into an unsupported reputation statement.
Logos and Brand Assets
Text links are the default presentation. Third-party logos may be added only after confirming permission, applicable brand guidelines, or another valid basis. A logo should not imply a partnership or endorsement that does not exist. Text attribution remains sufficient when logo use has not been confirmed.

Journalists or organizations seeking background information, attribution guidance, or confirmation of an official statement may use the partnerships address. Editorial questions about published coverage should use the editorial address.
