There are many sites that give a lot of information about the Hong Kong Dollar. Some are updated regularly and will tell you a lot about the currency whilst others are 10 years old and completely useless. All banknotes are visible here (including the 2010 versions) and it is a great site to check the history of the Note Printing company.

http://www.info.gov.hk/hkma/new_hk_banknotes/eng/index.htm - Great photo`s and information on the security features on the bank notes of the new series. This series was released in 2003 and 2004 and will be replaced soon,  but it will be a long time before the notes run out.

This is a great site to find out the safety/security measures that are in place as well as all the different designs that are available (because of the different issuing banks).

http://www.gocurrency.com/countries/hong_kong.htm - Almost as much information about Hong Kong`s financial welfare on this site as information about the currency, but it all works together very well. Good site to learn quickly about the political structure and the trading volume of Hong Kong.

Give current buying and selling rates as well as a history over a (user defined) time frame. Website also offers the great ability to see the exchange rate of the currency on any specific day in history.
